Visit From Norman Rockwell's Son!

Alright Norman Rockwell buffs, you'll love this one... Norman Rockwell's son Tom (Thomas) Rockwell came in last week for breakfast to Rockwell's in Villa Park! He seemed to want his privacy because he waited until he and his family where done with their meals before pulling his server aside and offering this pin which he signed "Thomas Rockwell."

I am thrilled to think that anyone from the Rockwell family has been to Rockwell's in Villa Park to enjoy some of our delicious products.

For those of you who don't know the name "Rockwell's" was used to create a sense of family, for our family and neighborhood style cafe. Ninety percent of the Rockwell artwork and plates, etc have been brought in by guest who simply want to see others enjoy their Norman Rockwell items that might have otherwise had a lifetime of enjoyment wasted in a basement or attic.

Happy Holiday's From All Of Us At Rockwell's

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas! Eat, drink and be Merry, but, be safe. Did your forget to place your Christmas order? Fear not! Even though we have over 1200 orders for pick up today, we are prepared for those of you who forgot! We are open until 5pm today and are closed on Christmas Day. Friday we resume our normal business hours and open at 6am!

Rockwell's-Banquet-Kids Party-Magic Show

Happy 6th Birthday Alex from the staff at Rockwell's in Villa Park. We hope you had a magical time! Alex, his friends and the parents enjoyed a cold sandwich buffet with an assortment or gourmet cheeses and crackers, fresh fruit, a marble cake with fudge filling that was in the shape of the #6 (with Alex's picture on it) and the children also decorated their very own holiday cookies! Oh, and did I mention Alex's parents hired a magician? Too cool!

Baby Shower Tiered Fondant Cake

This multi-tier cake is zoo-a-rific! The customer brought in a plate that they picked up from party city and asked us to do a fondant cake that resembled the plate. This is what the Rockwell's staff came up with! The cakes serves about 75 guest and is marble cake with raspberry mousse and fresh strawberry slices. This cake is perfect for a baby shower or 1st birthday!
